Regional Manager North East, Yorkshire and the Humber Homebased with travel throughout region Permanent Full Time with some early and late event finishes £50,000 Join our team A perfect opportunity to support ICAEW's strategy in the delivery of it's regional engagement programme. In conjunction with other ICAEW departments, the UK Regions team delivers local and regional programmes of initiatives and events - more than 2,000 every year - to support local Chartered Accountants throughout their career journey, from post-qualified through to post-retirement, and across all disciplines of membership. Working with the regional director you will establish the engagement strategy for the region, understanding the local opportunities available to increase our members' profile and putting ICAEW at the heart of local economic matters. You will then lead a small team in planning and delivering the programme of activity and events. For example this could involve attendance at local economic forums, delivering professional and personal development events, networking opportunities and building relationships across ICAEW's service providers to ensure the local community of members are fully able to access all of the member benefits available to them. The ultimate goal is to raise ICAEW's level of reputation and influence in the region. As the successful candidate you will already have been in a role with a significant amount of contact with leaders across the region and have good knowledge of current affairs and matters impacting the accountancy profession. You will have managed a small team and be able to demonstrate an inclusive and motivating management style. You will be well organised, flexible in your approach and be able to move from project to project comfortably while celebrating successes and reflecting on lessons learned to ensure continual improvement. Previous experience of planning and delivering stakeholder initiatives and events essential. You will also need a clean driving license and access to a car. Why work at ICAEW?
