Description We are looking for an inspiring people leader in sales (with experience both in direct 20% and partner 80%/channel sales) to lead a team of circa. 6-8 Mid-Market Install Base Representatives and Partner Sales Managers. The Applications MidMarket Sales Manager's primary responsibilities will be to implement our new Mid-Market partner sales focused go-to-market strategy, while at the same time delivering expected levels of revenue performance and ensuring customers' success. In addition, the Applications MidMarket Sales Manager must lead, drive and inspire the change management necessary for the team to be successful in the new go-to-market setup. What You'll Do Lead a newly integrated team of Mid-Market Install Base Representatives (direct sales) and Partner Sales Managers (partner-led sales) across the UKI region. Support and enable your team to successfully transition into a new go-to-market setup by leading by example through the change journey Enable your team to achieve / exceed revenue objectives Build and maintain executive relationships with C-levels of top customers and external partners Actively participate in key deals, strategy, and execution to ensure success of your customers and your partners Proactively identify new potential partners for the Oracle Mid-Market partner ecosystem and work with partner recruiting to win them over Define sales territories, set quotas. Manage team performance, including pipeline, account penetration, and activity levels Establish and maintain sales management processes, including forecast review; actively support corporate policies and initiatives. Establish and manage cross-functional processes, services, solution consulting, finance, legal, marketing, partner recruiting/development, etc. Create and manage short term and long-term business plans People Management Actively recruit highly qualified team members, quickly get them ready to contribute effectively to Oracle and the partner ecosystem. Drive a team culture based on customer centricity that delivers on every commitment, every time. Motivate team members and encourage individual career development. Facilitate the success of the team and individuals through coaching and counselling and performance management. Proactively manage, develop and recruit to have a sustainable and predictable business with clear succession plans in place. What You'll Bring Experience in First Line Sales management mandatory. Experience in SaaS sales, other Cloud solutions or consulting services to a C-level customer group. Knowledge of and experience working in collaboration with channel partners / resellers. Proven leadership ability and experience in managing a team through an organizational and cultural change. Track record of ability to build creditability and relationships at the C-Level of customers and partners. Experience working in an international matrix organization. Comfortable working in an organization based on trust and openness - being empowered to speak up and every day try to improve how we work and how we put customers first. Fluency in English is mandatory. Responsibilities As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage area channel sales throughout the sales cycle. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's revenue across all products and product lines with Oracle partners. Responsible for the indirect revenue from these partners. Manages the identification and development of channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Manage the facilitation of joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts to senior management. May participate in account planning and strategy development.
