Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth in our Machinery Services division.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the machinery services industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies.
Develop and sell SGS services related to the testing, inspection and certification of products and equipment subject to the UK Machinery Regulations and EU Machinery Directive.
Develop and sell SGS services relating to the functional safety of components and equipment/machinery.
Qualifications
Sales qualification, or time served to demonstrate experience
Full clean driving licence for use in the UK
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the machinery services sector.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Significant experience in a highly technical B2B environment
Experience working successfully within a performance measured CRM based sales environment
