Senior Engineer in London

Job description

Our client is a well-known civil engineering contractor who are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their strategic infrastructure team on a road widening/commercial project in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction of road infrastructure, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the construction of road infrastructure, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications Manage project resources, including labour, materials and equipment, to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular reports to the Project Manager Ensure that all health and safety regulations and procedures are followed on site Liaise with clients, stakeholders and other project team members to ensure that the project is delivered to the required standards Setting out earthworks, drainage, footpaths, 278 works and roundabout (when required) Manage a Junior Site Engineer Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with experience in road infrastructure projects From a Site Engineer background (will be required to set out, when required) Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Strong leadership and people management skills Own setting out equipment (preferred, not essential) If you meet the above requirements and are looking for an exciting new challenge please call Misbah Asif on
