Senior Tax Manager, FTSE 100 Group (London Hybrid) in South East London

An exciting and unique role working in a FTSE 100 Group where you will take ownership over tax for the UK business, as well supporting on other International and Group tax projects. There is plenty of scope for the role to grow and evolve in the short to medium term, taking on more responsibility within the team. Reporting to the Head of Tax and with one direct report, responsibilities include: Taking the lead for all tax issues arising in the UK businesses including ensuring compliance deadlines are met. Support the UK businesses and head office on any queries covering corporation tax, employment taxes, VAT and customs duty, and any other taxes (using advisors where required) Partnering with FDs to understand opportunities, providing advice and enabling them to further improve their own internal processes and opportunities Operate as the main point of contact with HMRC and manage reviews and queries they raise. This is a hugely varied role that enables someone to take ownership over the UK territory across all taxes, whilst also working in a Large Plc environment and enjoying the international projects that come with that. You will be a Qualified Accountant and / or Tax Advisor with strong UK Tax experience. The client is keen for someone who is keen to grow and take on a larger role in time, so experience of working in a large international business would be preferred as well as a willingness to take on other areas.
