The Role and the TeamWe\'ve recently formed a brand-new FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function in our Finance team, and we\'re on the lookout for two talented Finance Business Partners to join us. Reporting directly into our Head of FP&A, you\'ll play a pivotal role in understanding and deciphering the financial landscape of Blue Light Card. Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and this is an exciting opportunity for you to help us deliver more value to our members and contribute to our company\'s growth by driving in-depth analysis of our revenue streams.What You’ll Do Drive our budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with senior stakeholders to accurately forecast our future performancePerform regular variance analysis to highlight the key drivers of our financial results, and recommended actionsPartner with our Marketing, Insights and Commercial teams to provide them with the analysis they need to optimise our member offering and drive more value for our membersCreate and share in-depth analysis as needed to support decision-making across the businessPerform market analysis and benchmarking to provide context around our member behaviour and financial performanceContribute to our long-term forecast model, including scenario analysis to inform executive decision-makingWhat You’ll BringProven experience as an FP&A Analyst, with a deep understanding of financial forecasting and analysis techniquesExceptional data and analytical skills, including familiarity with forecasting, reporting and BI tools (and yes, Excel too!)Experience in a marketing, tech or ecommerce/D2C companyStrong communication skills, in particular the ability to distil and convey complex financial concepts clearly and succinctly to non-finance business partnersA track record of building strong business partnering relationships with colleagues at all levels including senior managementProficiency in evaluating the effectiveness of financial analyses, using data insights to drive continuous improvementA recognised qualification or part-qualification in Accountancy (e.g. CIMA or ACCA)Our CultureWe are the discount service for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces, providing our members with thousands of amazing discounts online and on the high street.Our members are at the heart of everything we do, so our people are integral to helping create the unique experience we deliver.
