Job description
Work as Deputy Home Manager of a stunning nursing home in Leeds. The purpose built home is registered to provide nursing, dementia and residential care for up to 70 residents. We are looking for an RGN or RMN Registered Nurse Deputy to work in a supernumery capacity, and the salary is £52,000 pa.
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy to report directly into the Care Home Manager and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company provides high quality, client focused care within the Home, and encourage staff to be mindful towards their approach to care.
Role Responsibilities as Nurse Manager:
To assist the Home Manager and Registered Nurses in the running of the home, providing supervisions and support
Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
To continually improve the quality of care delivered
Keeping up to date with best practice as part of an ongoing personal development plan
Participating in the ongoing assessment, planning and evaluation of residents
Contribute to the management of the safety, quality and financial aspects of the care home
Skills and experience required:
1st Level Nurse, RGN or RMN Qualified
Nursing home experience at supervisory level
Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships
Proficient computer skills in word, excel and in house systems.
Good team worker
The role of Deputy is a full time, permanent supernumery position, working 3 days one week and 4 the next (42 hrs) from 7.45am - 8pm, including alternate weekends. Flexibility is required to cover annual leave and sickness, working on the floor if needed.
The salary is £52,000 per annum, plus benefits including:
