My client is one of the largest Police Forces in the UK and is based in the North of England who are currently in the process of expanding their Digital Policing Team. As a result, they are recruiting for a Software Asset Licence Manager to build, drive, and optimise a robust Software Asset Management (SAM) service across Digital Policing RESPONSIBILTIES Continue the work to build, drive and optimise a robust Software Asset Management (SAM) service. Mature and maintain SAM policy and procedure that defines a set of standards, principals, and frameworks. Create and update associated processes and procedures and management of all SAM assets via the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool, ensuring effective maintenance and reuse of software assets. REQUIREMENTS Demonstrable knowledge of software asset management (SAM) and its related policies and procedures alongside knowledge and experience of SAM compliance processes. Demonstrable knowledge of core licensing programmes including Microsoft. Demonstrable knowledge of procurement planning, and management practises related to IT assets, including bids, contracts, and contract renewals. This is a hybrid role that along with a salary of up to £45,546 also offers an excellent Public Sector Pension Scheme.
