Housing Recovery Coordinator (Substance Misuse)

Our client is a rapidly growing and highly successful charity. They provide a safe environment in which people can develop the life skills and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery from substance misuse and successfully re-integrate into society.
The Role
The charity is looking to recruit a team of highly motivated Housing Recovery Coordinator to work across Durham County. The most important things youll bring to this role are your positive attitude, enthusiasm, integrity and ability to use initiative as well as your belief in their ambition: to eliminate the problems of housing associated with alcohol and drug use.
This is your chance to join a new team aiming to address the housing needs of those in treatment and improve engagement in treatment of those working with Housing Solutions or living in temporary accommodation. You will contribute to this position by providing support and advice to those involved in substance misuse where this creates a barrier to housing.
Youll need to be able to work with service users holistically, helping them to access other services that can help with the practical problems they may be facing as a result of their substance misuse (e.g. housing, financial, healthcare etc).
