We are pleased to be representing a well established client are looking for an experiences Sales Manager to join their team working alongside the Head of Sales and Marketing. The main purpose of the role is to take ownership of the existing portfolio as well as developing new business across the UK. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: Account Management:

Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing business. Secure new customers, expanding the company's reach and revenue. Liaison with Production and Technical departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and complaint resolution. New Business Development:

Identify new opportunities with businesses across the UK Analyse customer feedback and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities. Initiate and monitor new product development (NPD) in collaboration with the Technical Manager. Provide samples to prospective customers, showcasing the company's capabilities. Compliance and Administration:

Collaborate with Accounts to establish standard business terms and manage credit limits. Meticulously document costs associated with account maintenance, expansion, and new customer acquisition. Serve as a primary contact during product recall procedures, ensuring swift and effective action. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the BRC Quality Standard, safeguarding product quality and brand reputation

The successful Sales Manager: Previous experience in a sales role in a food manufacturing, food service or FMCG environment Be able to build robust relationships with customers and stakeholders across all levels A willingness to attend trade shows and customers across the UK A credible professional with ambition and determination to succeed This is an excellent role for a proven Sales Manager who has a passion for building new relationships as well as strengthening current ones with key accounts. The company are very forward thinking and collaborative and the role would suit someone who loves to share ideas and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus and package.
