Technical Resource Manager
Our Client are an Oxfordshire based MSP, who are keen to find an enthusiastic Technical Resource Manager for a hybrid role within there Oxfordshire Office.
Our clients organisations primary focus would include, Cybersecurity, Modern Workplace and Cloud Technologies. The product and service portfolio would consist of Hybrid Cloud, including there own Private Cloud Solution and integration with public cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure, Office365 and AWS.
The Networking and Cyber Security solutions would include products from vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet and Aruba.
Within the role you would be expected to co-ordinate a team of 16 highly skilled Security, Networks, Hybrid Cloud specialists, Project Managers and Cabling Wi-Fi Engineers.
In addition to this you would be required to take responsibility for the pre-sales process, task allocation, resource management, in addition to others.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading a team of 16 highly skilled Networks, Security and Hybrid Cloud specialists, Project Managers and Cabling Wi-Fi Engineers. The teams are led by Team leaders, which provide expertise in their technical field and this role is to support the delivery of all works.
Organise the resource calendar and work alongside the Technical Coordinators.
Documenting and Evolving processes and best practice for resource management.
Organise the provision of technical pre-sales support to the Sales Department. Pre-sales will be provided by the leaders in the relevant field, with resource administration being the main responsibility within this role.
Work in collaboration with the Accounts Department in the onboarding of sub-contractors, helping to ensure all necessary procedures and processes are under control.
Encourage collaboration from your team with all other departments in the business.
Keeping track of employees performance and workload.
Play a key role in ISO Management and H&S Team.
Collaborate with the HR team in the training and recruitment of staff.
Lead teams skills, certifications, appraisals and development plans.
Plan ahead to ensure delivery of tender responses.
Take steps to ensure Project Managers work alongside all internal teams to deliver projects smoothly.
Take responsibility and ensure the teams financial profitability.
Ensure EEs ISO, H&S and GDPR policies and procedures are followed by all members of staff.
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience of leading a high level project management and professional services team.
Prior experience of maintaining and implementing internal processes.
High level communication skills.
Competence in managing multiple differing tasks at any one time.
Ability to liaise with Individuals across all levels of the business.
Experience at showing an organised approach to handling all matters.
Ability to lead and motivate people and teams.
Is a self motivated individual, who will take initiative.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Microsoft Fundamentals.
Prince / ITIL.
Technical knowledge in Networking, Cloud solutions: Azure, Office365, Storage and Backup.
Project & Programme Management.
Salary: £50-60k pa
