Your new school Hays are recruiting on behalf of an OFSTED good rated primary school in the Preston area. They are a two-form entry, mainstream primary school with an excellent reputation locally. The school is conveniently located, with good public transport links and secure on-site parking. The Headteacher and her leadership team are supportive, making this an ideal opportunity for either an ECT or experienced Teacher. Your new role In your role as a Year 3 Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons to lower KS2, ensuring classroom behaviour is managed in a firm but fair manner. This role is full-time, 5 days per week. Working hours will be 08:30 until 15:30 each day, although additional hours may be required for planning, marking and assessment. This is a 12 month contract, covering maternity leave. A permanent opportunity may be available upon completion of the 12 months. What you\'ll need to succeed The successful applicant will have recent experience in the education sector (preferably in KS1 or KS2). The school are seeking somebody with a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have education-sector experience within the last 3 years. A DBS certificate on the update service system would be advantageous, but Hays can support you in obtaining this.
