Integration Engineer - Wiring in London

Are you an Integration Wiring Engineer looking to enhance your career? Expleo are recruiting on behalf of our prestige client for an Integration Wiring Engineer based in Essex. The role includes delivering best in class wiring solutions for commercial customers as part of the Special Vehicles Digital Integration Services Team. This role requires ability to design, develop and launch factory and conversion install low volume quick to market wiring solutions for customers, both internal and external. Role and Responsibilities - Ability to work directly with customers Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated & ability to be autonomous Proficient with IT systems Writing wiring specification & able to understand engineering drawings Interfacing with Systems Engineering team on logical and physical schematic development Support System and Functional level design reviews of electrical schematics (Compatibility reviews) where appropriate with Suppliers Collaborate with Wiring Suppliers to define the correct specification unique to application Lead prototype & low fidelity prove out physical builds Work with suppliers to determine the right solution for the customer Support complexity reduction and efficiency workstreams with cross functional teams Supporting the 2D drawing preparation, sign off and release steps Establishing business case on bespoke fleet electrical solutions with electrical wiring and/or component suppliers, marketing, and fleets Ensuring the robustness of Electrical wiring interface work done by Converters that do not compromise existing base vehicle (Key off load etc) Ensuring Marketing requirements and PDL are translated into Engineering solutions (Features and Functions of system are aligned) Gathering data on relevant SDSs required for the SV engineered features Supporting technology reviews to develop alternative EDS solutions Monitoring Field Conversions impacting SV Electrical options.
