The Senior Biostatistician provides statistical input into the planning and development of clinical trials and non-interventional studies (NIS), performs analysis of study data, and gives statistical input for reporting of study results. This role plays an integrated coordinating role in multi-disciplinary project and study teams and ensures that all statistical operations comply with the respective SOPs and working instructions and further develops these. The Senior Biostatistician guides, coaches and develops junior members of the team and acts as a role model in this context. Additionally, the Senior Biostatistician may participate in business development tasks. What you will do: Responsibility for statistical input regarding study design, statistical model selection, planned analysis of study data, and sample-size calculation Programming of statistical analyses and tables, figures and listings (TFLs) with SAS for clinical trials and non-interventional studies (NIS) using proprietary program templates or Sponsor macros Generation of derived analyses datasets in CDISC standard (ADaM) Development and QC of statistical analysis plans (SAPs) Providing statistical input in study documents such as CRF and DMP Responsible for generation of randomization Performance of meta-analyses of statistical results from different published studies Review of statistical parts of clinical study reports and of the accurate interpretation of results Develops relationships with clients and is considered a point of contact by clients for project requests / questions

Desirable Education and Experience: Master's Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience or Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years practical experience or relevant vocational experience Solid experience in applied statistics, preferably within a CRO environment Good knowledge of the industrial standards (CDISC, ICH E9, GCP) Excellent analytical skills and understanding of data structures Good understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector Ability to work closely with Clinical Team to develop and communicate the organisation's point of view
