Forklift Service Engineer £28,000 - £33,500 + Training + Overtime + Company Van + Private Pension + Holidays + No weekends Candidates to be based in near M4/M5 - Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Taunton, Newport Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for a role in a new industry offering full industry specific training to expand your skillset while working a field-based role covering the South West, with optional overtime to boost your earnings? Do you want manufacturing training on the equipment in a role offering overtime paid at an enhanced rate to significantly boost your earnings, while still maintaining a great work/life balance with no weekend work or call outs required? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Mechanical Engineering background to expand their skills by being trained up in a new industry while travelling across the South West in your company van, servicing Materials Handling equipment in warehouses. This long-established company are UK market leaders in the Materials Handling sector, and are part of a larger group, ensuring stability and continual growth and achievement. The ideal candidate will have experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics and have worked in a transferrable industry such as: Plant, Powered Access, Ex-Military, Agriculture or HGV. The role: *Field based, servicing materials handling equipment in warehouses across the south west *08:00-17:00 Monday-Friday with 30 min commute time each way *Full industry specific, manufacturing training The person: *Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics *Looking for training in a new industry to become a more well-rounded engineer *Based within commutable distance to M4/M5 with full UK driving license.
