Automatic Door Field Line Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne

Talent84 is recruiting for a rapidly growing business in the Fire, Security, & Electrical contracting market, working across multiple sectors with a large concentration in the public sector. Due to the awarding of the long-term contract within the public sector, which has over 1000 sites nationwide and 4500 assets across those sites, a minimum of 16 engineers and 4 trainee engineers are needed across the country to ensure that all automatic doors, shutters, and gates are working at all times. The successful candidates will be the direct managers for the designated team of engineers and will be the first point of contact for field queries, escalations and overall support. There will be one in the Southern areas of the contract and one in the Northern. Qualifications & Experience Comprehensive industry experience Technical experience and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards within the disciplines Experience working within a continually pressured environment and with tight operational deadlines Preferred experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams Previous management experience, would be beneficial but not essential The use of Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel, essentials, and CASH for Windows knowledge is desirable and a distinct advantage.
