Engineering Sales Administrator Essex On-site £25,000 - £28,000 Do you love solving technical problems and are interested in engineering, mechanical or manufacturing processes? Are you analytically minded and love working in Excel? Are you looking for a role that will provide continuous development and progression? We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Sales Administrator to join a friendly sales office team and play a crucial role in preparing and managing engineering quotations. Responsibilities: Quotation Preparation: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to gather necessary information for creating accurate and competitive engineering quotations. Using pricing tools, cost databases, and templates to ensure quotations align with company pricing strategies. Customer Service: Arrange courier collections for customer orders Monitor delivery status for invoicing Provide outstanding customer service when processing orders Manage and monitor customer requirement deadlines. Work closely with the sales team to communicate effectively with clients regarding quotation details, clarifications, and modifications. Provide timely responses to client inquiries and support the sales team in maintaining positive client relationships. Order Processing Support: Office administration, logging quotation data. Produce international shipping documentation and administration. Reporting: Create daily, weekly and monthly project performance reports using databases and ERP systems. Produce monthly sales reports for Sales Manager and Sales Director. Qualifications: GSCE Maths & English A Level of education or above Proven analytical skills and highly organised Outstanding customer service, both written and spoken. Previous experience in a sales administration role, preferably in an engineering or technical industry, would be beneficial. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Benefits: 25 days holiday 37.5 hrs and an early finish on Fridays!
