A fantastic opportunity is available for a Technical Manager to join an established business with over 70 years of history specialising in surface treatment. The company are committed to continuous development and work closely with the wider surface engineering community. Supporting many industries such as Aerospace, Energy, Packaging, and Medical with their products this is an exciting time to join the team. In return, you will receive a salary of £44,000 - £49,000 per annum (DOE) As the Technical Manager you will have the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Supervising wet and metallurgical laboratory processes and teams Liaising with cross-functional teams for Quality, Technical and non-technical topics Problem solving within an industrial environment Sharing Technical expertise to represent the company Implementation of processes and change management To be successful within the role of Technical manager you will have worked in a similar role in, Quality, Lab or Technical management in a metal finishing/surface engineering environment as well as the following. Requirements Educated to degree level desirable in chemistry, science or related field Member of IMF or equivalent organisation desirable Hands on experience working in Metal Finishing, Surface Engineering, Electroplating, Phosphating or Anodising processes Understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 COSHH In return, as the Technical Manager you will receive Salary of £44,000 - £49,000 per annum DOE Pension Early finish on a Friday Free on site parking 22 Days holiday plus bank holidays Christmas shutdown period of which days are paid Apply Now!
