Reporting to the Service Manager, The Service Engineer will work on field the following times/days: 08.00 -17.00 Monday to Friday and will be responsible for attendance and completion of Service Call Outs as well as the servicing and maintenance of equipment. You would also: Basic trouble shooting, maintenance and repair on designated equipment Completion of preventative maintenance such as health checks Managing own van stock and ordering replacement stock with Service Supervisor Adherence to Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated The skills and experience you need: We are looking for someone who : Has a good understanding of electrical equipment Has ideally, a strong construction industry knowledge Has computer literacy and understanding of PC hardware Has a valid ALLMI Crane Operator License, a valid HGV Driver's License and a valid CPC Has experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment is preferable The ideal candidate is highly organized and punctual, demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills, must excel in problem-solving, possess the ability to work independently, and uphold ethical standards while consistently maintaining a professional appearance.
