dependant on experience £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 ( 3 Month's probationary period )working full time 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, specifically in operating theatres and other healthcare environments. This role requires a strong background in HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance inspection and repair tasks on HVAC systems in operating theatres and other healthcare areas, including air handling units, chillers, ventilation systems, and related equipment. Conduct inspections and assessments of existing HVAC systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facility managers, engineers, and healthcare professionals, to plan and execute HVAC projects in compliance with healthcare regulations and industry best practices. Conduct thorough commissioning activities to verify the performance and functionality of HVAC systems, including airflow measurements, temperature and humidity control, and pressure differentials. Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain a comfortable and safe environment for patients and staff. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service reports, adhering to documentation requirements and quality standards.
