Role Overview: We are searching for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer with a robust background in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial heating systems and hold relevant gas safety certifications. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and installations across various commercial premises. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair gas heating systems and appliances within commercial settings, ensuring compliance with current regulations. Conduct routine servicing and safety checks of gas appliances and systems. Diagnose and rectify faults in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding the use and maintenance of their gas systems. Collaborate closely with the facilities management team to plan and schedule maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work carried out. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and best practices in the gas engineering field. Requirements: Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, with a solid understanding of commercial heating systems. Relevant gas qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe Register) are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
