What will you be doing? As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be performing on one of our major aerospace engineering projects in Shrewsbury for a short period of time followed by the remainder of the project in Sheffield. Your main responsibilities will be: Supporting a large NPI project to transition aerospace machining processes across different sites Leading engineering projects including P1, NPDI, CAPEX, and process improvements. Managing engineering change control processes across the business, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Implementing productivity enhancement initiatives and problem-solving strategies. Validating and execute corrective/preventive actions and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) derived from the NCR process and continuous improvement efforts. Supporting Quality and Business Unit teams in meeting quality standards through effective Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions. Driving initiatives to maximize productivity and meet operational standard hour targets. Managing critical engineering budgets and engage the team in improvement projects to meet budget goals.

Qualifications

You are... Passionate about engineering result-oriented proactive Experience, skills and qualifications required: 5 years of experience in a similar industry - Essential Educated to degree level, including HND in Engineering discipline - Desirable Qualification in Lean tools & principals or Six Sigma - Desirable Experience with 5 axis, 3 axis machining, CNC machining Experience developing SOP's and WI's Experience with adhering to AS9001 standards Additional Information
