Senior Solution Engineer - BESS/Renewable Energy - hybrid/remote A very exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Solution Engineer to join a global organsiation who are pushing the boundaries of innovation within the renewable energy space, and doing some very exciting work in the area of industrial energy storage systems (ESS/BESS). This organisation's products portfolio encompasses generation, storage, and software, giving the ability to manage these complete solutions on a global scale with ease and efficiency. The Senior Solution Engineer will be customer facing and involved with all activities relating to pre-sales, including developing technical solutions, as well as working closely with internal product teams on definition and strategy. Essential skills: 5+ years' experience devising and developing solutions within the energy or energy storage space Strong knowledge of international regulatory standards for BESS systems Working knowledge of BESS, power conversion systems, PPC/SCADA Experience designing, engineering, and optimising utility scale BESS Familiar with grid operator and connection processes relating to short circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal systems, safety systems, etc. Strong collaborator, with good experience in a multicultural and multi-stakeholder environment Excellent communication and fluent in English BSc or MSc in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering

Desirable: Previous experience working for a DNO or TSO Additional languages such as Italian, German, Spanish
