Role Overview:


As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of Meditrade UK by:


  • Outbound Calling: This is the core of your role. You will be responsible for conducting high volumes of outbound calls to cold and warm leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Using both internal market data and external lead databases to identify potential customers.
  • Customer Acquisition: Introducing Meditrade’s diverse product range to private healthcare providers, and medical consumable distributors.
  • Account Management: Over time, you will take on responsibility for managing and growing your client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for further business.
  • Market Research and Reporting: Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activity and providing insights to senior management.


This is a dynamic position with significant growth potential, offering a pathway to increased responsibilities as part of a growing team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Generate new leads and convert them into customers through high-volume outbound calls.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge about Meditrade's product portfolio to prospects and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and account onboarding.
  • Report on sales activities and market trends to senior management.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience: Proven experience in outbound calling is essential. While industry experience in healthcare or medical sales is advantageous, it is not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to quickly build rapport over the phone and deliver persuasive sales pitches.
  • Resilience: A proactive attitude and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining motivation.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Adaptability: Readiness to take on account management responsibilities as the role grows.
