Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Urgent Care)

Up to £56,000 FTE (DoE) + Enhanced Unsociable Hours Pay

Full-time & Part-time | Permanent

I am headhunting on behalf of a prestigious organisation for an Advanced Clinical Practitioners (or Advanced Nurse Practitioners), with a passion for urgent and unscheduled care to join their growing team at Sheffield Walk-in Centre. This is a unique chance to make an impact in a busy, dynamic setting, delivering high-quality care to a broad patient population.


What you'll do:

  • assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently, using your advanced skills to manage a range of undifferentiated conditions
  • Provide timely, patient-centred care - including prescribing, referrals, and clinical decision-making
  • Work collaboratively with their multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each patient
  • Support care across physical, mental health, and social needs, including referrals into their innovative well-being hub
  • Deliver a mix of shifts across 7 days (8am–10:30pm) with flexibility around shift lengths


What we’re looking for:

  • NMC/HCPC Registered Clinician (or Pharmacist)
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
  • Minor Illness, Advanced Assessment & Prescribing qualifications at Level 7
  • Experience working in urgent or primary care settings
  • Confidence seeing patients of all ages
  • Excellent communication and triage skills
