Technical Scrum Master

Remote working (UK-based only)

Up to £70k package (This figure includes base, car allowance + bonus)

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong technical background in Software/Web Development to join a leading digital consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, guiding and coaching teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Leadership: Guide and coach the scrum team on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Sprint Management: Oversee the Agile delivery, ensuring the scope and objectives are agreed upon with the wider team.
  • Product Roadmap Support: Collaborate with the Product Owner team to develop and refine the product roadmap.
  • Backlog Management: Manage the sprint backlog, monitoring the burndown and maintaining velocity.
  • Ceremony Facilitation: Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily Scrum, sprint planning and reviews.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Development Background: At least Four years experience in a hands on Software/Web development or QA/Automation Test (Automation test/SDLC) role is ESSENTIAL (We unfortunately can't consider candidates without this background)
  • Scrum Master Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).
  • Agile Experience: Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies.
  • SC Eligibility: Must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
  • Public Sector Experience: Experience with public sector projects and familiarity with the Government Design System (GDS) is a bonus but not essential.
