UI/UX Designer

Location: Fareham, Hampshire (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We’re working with a forward-thinking, product-led technology company based in Fareham that’s building clean, intuitive digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. With a newly launched mobile app already being used by thousands, they’re entering an exciting growth phase—and are now looking to bring on their first in-house UI/UX Designer.

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the product’s design direction, working directly with founders and developers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you’re looking for a role where your design decisions have real impact, this is it.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process across mobile and web products
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes based on product requirements
• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and occasionally external partners
• Continuously test and iterate on designs to improve user experience and performance
• Develop and maintain internal design standards and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a commercial UI/UX design role
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both mobile and web design work
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• A strong eye for design detail, usability, and user-centric problem solving

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for mobile interfaces with space and usability constraints
• Background working in startups or early-stage product teams
• Comfortable collaborating directly with company founders and defining product requirements
