SEO Lead – EdTech Marketplace Scale-up - £50-70k – Remote (1 day pm)
Join a growing B2C edtech business focused on transforming how consumers engage with learning and educational services. With a strong focus on content and SEO as key growth levers, the company is building a high-impact, scalable content hub to drive top-of-funnel traffic and long-term organic growth.
We're hiring an experienced SEO Lead to take ownership of content-led SEO strategy during a critical growth phase. You'll be central to building and optimising a content operation that delivers discoverable, high-value resources
This permanent role is hybrid, with one day per month in Sheffield.
The SEO Lead will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s mission to support customer success.
- Manage the SEO content calendar, balancing campaign-driven and evergreen content to maximise search visibility.
- Lead creation of conversion-focused content across multiple formats—microcopy, videos, messaging, and lead magnets—that engage and convert users.
- Implement and refine content operations processes, transforming data into actionable briefs and innovative formats.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and external SEO agencies to ensure content effectiveness and alignment with commercial goals.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO and content performance metrics, using data to optimise strategy and demonstrate ROI.
Required Experience:
- You have led SEO in a B2C company where content is the main driver of growth, ideally in a scale-up (i.e. A business with limited resources).
- Strong experience generally in SEO management, content strategy & marketing communications.
- EdTech is a plus.
