Accounts Assistant
Crawley
TEMP - Rolling contract
Office-based
Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
We are actively seeking a candidate to join a great business on a temp basis, who has the ability to pick things quickly and eager to get stuck in with the requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts
- Preparing payment runs and managing supplier payments
- Assisting with month-end reporting and journal entries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Supporting credit control and cash flow monitoring
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
