Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice

Cobham, Surrey | Full-Time or Part-Time | Modern Facilities | Low Weekend Rota

We’re working with a well-equipped and supportive veterinary practice in Cobham, known for its outstanding client care and forward-thinking approach to clinical work. With state-of-the-art facilities and a tight-knit team, this is a brilliant opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their skills in a collaborative and progressive environment.

About the Practice

This modern and spacious main site supports four sister branches in the surrounding area. Facilities include:

• In-house operating theatre
• Dedicated dental theatre
• Diagnostic suite (digital x-ray, ultrasound, lab equipment)
• Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards
• A clinical team made up of 5 Vets, 2 RVNs, plus an excellent support team

The leadership team includes 3 Practice Directors/Managers, focused on mentorship and creating an inclusive, enjoyable workplace culture.

The Role:

• Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
• Part-time applications welcome and can be tailored
• Weekends: 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm)
• Thursday afternoon off in lieu the following week

This position would suit a confident vet who enjoys a varied caseload and values strong clinical standards, teamwork, and great client relationships.

Ideal Candidate:

• MRCVS-qualified with the right to work in the UK
• Experience in general practice (newer grads considered if confident)
• Comfortable working sole charge occasionally (support available)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about high-quality medicine and patient care
