Finance Business Partner

Based in Derby (with hybrid working – 2 days from home)

£50,000 – £55,000

Fully Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

We’re working with a growing, forward-thinking business that’s looking to add a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to their expanding team.

This is a newly created role due to growth – a brilliant opportunity for someone recently qualified and ready to step into a true business partnering position.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking full ownership of the end-to-end management accounts process across a group of 9–10 businesses
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the group – building strong relationships and positively influencing decision-making
• Analysing financial performance and trends, identifying risks and opportunities
• Providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making, budgeting and forecasting
• Some UK travel required – typically 2 to 3 times a month – to maintain strong business relationships

What we’re looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) – ideally recently qualified
• Strong understanding of the full management accounts process
• A confident communicator – someone who enjoys building relationships and working closely with stakeholders
• Experience in a client-facing role or coming from a private practice background would be ideal
• A proactive, inquisitive approach – comfortable digging into the detail and challenging the numbers
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
