Interim M&A Integration Lead in City of London

Phipps Cameron is looking for an Interim M&A Integration Lead in City of London

Job description

Integration Manager – PE-Backed Software Company (Remote, Flexible Location)

*Immediate Start*

I’m working with a high-growth, private equity-backed software company that’s actively scaling through acquisition. They’re now looking to hire a hands-on Integration Manager to lead and execute post-merger integration initiatives across newly acquired businesses.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong operational background in software/SaaS to step into a critical role and drive integration across systems, teams, and processes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Role Overview

As Integration Manager, you’ll report directly to the executive team and own the planning and execution of end-to-end integration projects. You’ll act as the central link between the acquired business and internal stakeholders—ensuring operational alignment, synergy realization, and smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration planning and execution for newly acquired businesses
  • Collaborate across departments (Finance, Ops, Product, GTM) to deliver cohesive integration roadmaps
  • Build repeatable integration frameworks and processes for future acquisitions
  • Identify and track value drivers, risks, and KPIs related to integration success
  • Serve as the key liaison between internal and acquired leadership teams

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in integration, corporate development, or operational project management
  • Experience in the software/SaaS sector is essential
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, high-growth, PE-backed environment
  • Experience with M&A or post-merger integration strongly preferred
  • IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE

Why This Role?

  • High visibility with executive leadership and the board
  • Significant influence on the success of strategic acquisitions
  • Agile, growth-focused environment with career progression opportunities
  • Remote-first flexibility and a strong, performance-driven culture
