Investment Associate in City of London

Job description

A well-known private equity fund in London is looking to add an Associate to their investment team.

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, leading strategy consulting firm, or another private equity fund
• Strong academic background from a top university (e.g. Oxbridge, LSE, HEC, INSEAD, etc.)
• Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills
• Solid understanding of M&A processes and investment fundamentals
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A strong interest in private equity and long-term investing

Responsibilities:

• Work on all aspects of the investment process: sourcing, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management
• Build financial models and conduct detailed valuation and market analysis
• Prepare investment committee materials and support deal negotiations
• Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to drive value creation
• Support exit processes and strategic reviews
