Who are we?

Camden Games is an emerging board game company out of Camden Town! We create games from ideation to end result, allowing for endless amounts of creative freedom and opportunity. You’ll be joining our growing UK team at our design studio right on the high street. We are looking for the right person to help solidify our brand and sell products through social media management and community outreach.

The Role

We need a Social Media & Community Manager to help us build an engaged audience around our new brand, Camden Games. You’ll create fun, creative content that tells our story, showcases our products, and helps grow a loyal community of followers and customers.

You don’t need to be a board game expert — if you’re creative, full of ideas, and excited to learn, we’ll teach you what you need to know about the games industry!



Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement organic content schedules across our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Generate creative content ideas and bring them to life through writing, photos, and short-form videos
  • Be the face and voice of Camden Games on our social platforms
  • Build and engage with our growing online community
  • Support the creation of paid content — including photos and video assets
  • Collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to align messaging and visuals
  • Track social performance, create reports, and share insights to guide content strategy

Must Haves

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant subject
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar social media role (including internships or placements)
  • A showreel or portfolio that demonstrates your content creation skills — especially video
  • Solid understanding of key social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter)
  • Confident using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Video editing skills using tools like Premiere Pro, or equivalentAbility to produce performance reports and interpret data to improve strategy
  • Willingness to be “the face of Camden Games.” (appearance on camera)
  • A self-starter mindset: proactive, organised, and great at managing time to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of humour
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
