Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Camberley

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Capex & Fleet Accounting Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is a critical role responsible for managing capital expenditure (capex) processes across the Group, with a strong focus on fleet accounting. You’ll ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, uphold robust internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within capex and fleet accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end capex processes for the Group.
• Oversee fleet accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all capex and fleet-related financial transactions.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and finance.
• Provide insightful reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and systems.
• Support the annual budget, forecasting, and strategic planning processes related to capex and fleet.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• IFRS16 knowledge
• Strong experience in capital expenditure and/or fixed asset accounting.
• Experience in fleet accounting is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and lead change.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
