About The Role

This is a part-time role with responsibility for the development of players in a specific age group.

Core Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high quality, fun training sessions that are age appropriate.
• Connecting and communicating effectively with young players to create a positive and creative environment.
• Aligning session design and outcomes to our Forest Green Rovers academy philosophy.
• Identify High Potential individuals and improve them within sessions.
• Ensure that all activities are compliant with the EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Additional duties as reasonably requested by Academy Lead Foundation Coach.
• To adhere to the Club’s Safeguarding Policy at all times.
• To promote a safe and healthy working environment for all Players and staff.
• To promote a professional image of the Club and themselves at all times.
• To contribute to identifying and undertaking initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
• To work with and support other team members as required ensuring effective and efficient service is developed and delivered.
• You will be expected to seek ways of updating and improving personal skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to your own job role.

About You

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

• UEFA C Licence or higher
• FA safeguarding qualification
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• BFAS/EFAiF qualification
