Senior HPLC Scientist – Polymers // Analytics // Nanovesicle Drug Delivery // Cambridge

You are an analytical chemist that specialises in HPLC and have an expertise in polymer characterisation.

You want to apply this expertise to extremely novel technology, in a fast-paced, hands-on biotech environment.

We are working with a rapidly growing biotech based in Cambridge that has raised over £25 million and announced a huge strategic partnership with big pharma to build the next generation of polymer nanovesicles for gene therapy drug delivery. They have developed unique polymer nanotechnology that has the potential to encapsulate and release drugs on hard to reach targets far beyond difficult biological barriers (e.g. The blood brain barrier).

You will take on hard, fascinating technical challenges and your work has real potential to help revolutionise the treatment of rare diseases for patients suffering from unmet need.

Working in a small biotech will give you ownership over your work, exposure to senior leadership, and opportunities for scientific and professional development and progression.
