Project Quantity Surveyor Required in South Essex

Salary: Dependant on experience

Venn Group are currently looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor based on site in South Essex to manage a major Distribution Warehouse project.

Day to day duties include:

• Maximise the commercial position of the project for whilst maintaining positive Client relationships
• Utilise expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success
• Take a lead role in the valuation process where applicable including ensure valuations and invoices are issued on time
• Producing all pre-construction tender documents and conducting all procurement responsibilities such as tender meetings and analysis for selection of contractors
• Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reports
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutions

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related Degree
• Previous experience working on civils project
