Drayton is looking for an Head of Creative in City of London

Job description

Head of Creative – Fashion Brand – London

A disruptive, culture-driven fashion label is seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Creative to lead its next phase of brand evolution. With a cult following, ambitious growth plans, and a sharp digital edge, this is an opportunity to define the creative future of a growing, and exciting fashion brand.

The successful candidate will blend conceptual thinking with production know-how—equal parts brand builder, storyteller, and executor. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering content that cuts through, connects with their audience, and drives real commercial impact. This is a rare chance to own the creative direction of a brand that’s scaling fast, with significant budget, a growing team, and support from a leadership team that understands the power of bold creative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall creative direction and content strategy across all brand touchpoints.
  • Conceptualise and execute campaigns that drive engagement, brand affinity, and sales.
  • Own creative output across editorial shoots, digital content, and social.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and merchandising to ensure alignment between product, story, and audience.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing creative team.
  • Manage a flexible creative budget, and drive efficiency across shoot production.
  • Partner with performance and social teams to ensure content is tailored to media—understanding the “why” behind every asset.
  • Maintain accountability for key KPIs, including click-through rates, and social engagement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A hybrid thinker—equal parts creative director and producer—with a strong track record in fashion or youth culture brands.
  • Deep experience in storytelling, editorial campaigns, and content built for digital and social.
  • Previously led creative in a high-growth, single-brand environment (agency-style models not the right fit).
  • Commercially minded with an instinct for what moves the needle—both creatively and financially.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment; comfortable with ownership and ambiguity.
  • Understands audience, subculture, and brand authenticity—while still pushing creative boundaries.
  • Strong team leadership skills; capable of inspiring and scaling a creative department.
