Assistant Merchandiser in Hemel Hempstead

Job description

Mothercare Global Brand are searching for a an Assistant Merchandiser to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract basis.

This individual will work closely with the Buying, Finance, and Merchandising team as well as having close communication with the Supply Chain.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Working closely with suppliers to ensure that stocks are booked on time
• Managing stocks into the business ensuring that supplier availability dates are being met
• Analysis of Franchise Partner Sales and Stock
• Option Planning for new season
• Supporting Senior Merchandiser to prepare sign off packs and analysis

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Commercially astute
• Highly Analytical
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Highly Organised
• Experienced Assistant Buyer with category management skills
• Knowledge of using Microsoft applications including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
• Buying disciplines and teamwork
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Communication and relationship building skills across all stakeholders
• Time management
