Locum Solicitor/Legal Executive – Private Client

We are working with a highly regarded law firm with multiple offices across Somerset, seeking an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor / Legal Executive to provide extended cover to manage their running caseload.

Position Details:

• Location: Multiple offices across Somerset
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid (*Min 2 days on site per week)
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Hourly Rate: £45 – £60 per hour (DOE, self-employed/outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills, trusts, LPA’s, estate planning, and non-contentious probate
• Provide high-quality, tailored legal advice with professionalism and sensitivity
• Draft and review legal documents efficiently and accurately

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent
• Proven experience in private client work, particularly wills, probate and LPA’s
• Ability to handle mixed caseloads independently and with minimal supervision
