Join Our Team as a Residential Conveyancing Locum - In House.

Are you an enthusiastic Residential Conveyancer looking for a fresh challenge? Are you ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic in-house environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our client, a leading housing developer, is seeking a vibrant and skilled Residential Conveyancing Locum to join their team.

Start date: mid August, 6 week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing documentation for each transaction, included but not limited to preparation of contract packs, dealing with enquiries, preparation of completion statements.
• Dealing with the purchase of part-exchange properties and subsequent resales.
• Taking instructions from internal clients and actioning accordingly.
• Delegated supervisory responsibilities as and when required.
• Maintaining knowledge and skills.
• Liaising with our sales team on progression and working closely with the team to achieve exchanges.
• Registration of part exchange purchases.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or licenced Conveyancer with a strong background in residential conveyancing.
• Strong organisation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Attention to detail.
• IT skills to include use of case management systems.
• Punctual.
• Able to work both as an individual and as part of a wider team.
• Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct, CQS and UK Finance Lenders Handbook. • Sound technical conveyancing knowledge
