2+PQE Commercial Associate – Manchester – Salary up to £75k

With high-profile clients ranging from household names to high-growth disruptors, the team provides strategic legal advice across consumer protection, marketing, digital commerce, and regulatory enforcement.

The Role

The firm is looking for an experienced and driven Commercial Associate (2+ years’ PQE) to play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on matters with real-world impact—supporting innovative product launches, navigating global consumer regulations, and helping businesses manage legal risk in fast-evolving markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advertising and marketing compliance (CAP/BCAP Codes)
• Advise on a broad range of consumer and regulatory matters
• E-commerce and online trading regulations
• Consumer-facing contracts, terms, and transparency requirements
• Global consumer protection and cross-border compliance
• Price and prize promotions
• Regulatory investigations and enforcement response
• Strategic advice on consumer law risks and alignment with evolving data protection standards

The Candidate

• A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in Commercial law matters.
• A strong track record of advising on complex commercial matters.
• A strong interest in digital markets, consumer rights, and regulatory innovation.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing their own workload.
