Finance Business Partner – Operational Finance

Location: Hybrid – 3 days on-site (across Derby and Nottingham locations)

Salary: Up to £52,000 + industry-leading benefits and long-term career potential

Are you a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who thrives on building strong relationships and driving real operational impact? We’re recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a large, fast-paced organisation in a role with genuine visibility, variety, and influence.

The Role:

This is a true business partnering role – working closely with operational teams across multiple sites. You’ll be visible, collaborative, and embedded in the day-to-day, ensuring financial insight drives decisions and helps shape future performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting operational teams with accurate financial analysis and insight
• Producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Building relationships across multiple sites – making finance approachable and relevant
• Providing commercial challenge and driving improvements in financial performance
• Translating complex financial information for a non-finance audience

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), looking to qualify within the next 12 months
• Strong stakeholder management skills with adaptable communication
• A proactive, hands-on approach – confident in building relationships and challenging constructively
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify the complex
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or operational environment would be a bonus
