Rural Surveyor - East Anglia Consultancy

Location: Suffolk / Essex Borders

Contract Type: Permanent


Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, is seeking a skilled Rural Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the firm's success and advance their career in a supportive environment.


Position Overview

The Rural Surveyor will play a vital role in providing expert advice to the firm's diverse and loyal client base across East Anglia, focusing on valuations, tenancy advice, taxation, inheritance planning, development agreements, renewable deals, and infrastructure work.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations for a variety of rural properties
  • Provide expert tenancy advice to landlords and tenants
  • Assist clients with taxation and inheritance planning matters
  • Negotiate and manage development agreements and renewable deals
  • Contribute to significant infrastructure projects across the region


Requirements

  • RICS accredited degree or equivalent in Rural Surveying
  • Ideally, a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong expertise in valuations, tenancy advice, and taxation
  • Proficiency in inheritance planning and development agreements
  • Experience with renewable deals and infrastructure work
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work on diverse projects
