Job Title: Bioinformatician – Proteomics
Location: Remote
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

A pioneering precision medicine company is seeking a talented Bioinformatician to join their multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of next-generation diagnostic tools that are transforming clinical decision-making. To be suitable for the position, you must have experience in a Proteomics company.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of phosphoproteomics, leveraging cutting-edge LC-MS/MS data and proprietary bioinformatics platforms to uncover predictive biomarkers and support personalized treatment strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze large-scale (phospho)proteomics datasets to identify novel biomarkers for drug response.
- Collaborate with wet lab scientists to interpret experimental results and guide biological discovery.
- Develop and maintain robust statistical and predictive modelling pipelines.
- Contribute to the evolution of proprietary computational tools and workflows.
- Support clinical study design, data interpretation, and the preparation of scientific publications and patents.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and help shape the future of proteomics-based diagnostics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have Proteomics experience - ESSENTIAL
- PhD (or equivalent) in a STEM-related field.
- 3+ years of experience in statistical and predictive modelling of high-dimensional biological data.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in proteomics bioinformatics.
- Proficiency in R; additional experience in Python or C++ is a plus.
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and biochemical systems.
- Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and communicate complex data effectively.
