Role Overview:

A leading global law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Corporate Associate to join its Corporate team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border transactions and be part of a dynamic, collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise on a broad range of corporate matters including:

• Mergers and acquisitions (public and private)
• Private equity transactions
• Capital markets (equity and debt)
• Joint ventures and venture capital
• Corporate governance
• International corporate reorganisations

Manage transactions from inception through to completion, including due diligence, negotiation, and post-merger integration.

Collaborate with colleagues across a global network.

Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years PQE in corporate law.
• Strong experience in M&A and/or private equity.
• Excellent academic credentials and technical legal skills.
• Commercially astute with a global outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player with leadership potential and a proactive approach to client service.
