Job Title: Project Planner – Offshore Wind Farm

Location: London, UK / Offshore / Hybrid]

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Planner to support the planning and scheduling functions for a large-scale offshore wind farm project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring the project schedule to ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (using Primavera P6 or similar tools)
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, procurement, and contractors to gather input and provide updates on progress.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making.
  • Monitor critical paths, milestone achievements, and interface points across disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Integrate contractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall master schedule.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting key issues, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide planning expertise and insights.
  • Ensure schedules are aligned with project budgets, resource plans, and contractual requirements.
  • Support project controls functions including cost planning, reporting, and change management.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Project Planner or Scheduler on large infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in the offshore wind or oil & gas sectors.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of project planning principles, including critical path method (CPM), earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, including offshore and remote collaboration.
