Job Title: Head of Investment

Location: Kent

Salary: Up to £75,000

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

A leading Housing Association in Kent is looking to appoint a Head of Investment to oversee the planning and delivery of its capital investment programme. This role is central to ensuring the organisation’s homes are safe, sustainable, and meet both resident needs and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will lead on planned works, major refurbishment projects, and energy efficiency initiatives, while managing budgets and ensuring value for money. Working across departments, they will play a key role in shaping long-term asset strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s asset investment strategy
• Oversee planned maintenance, capital works, and retrofit programmes
• Manage long-term investment planning and stock condition data
• Ensure compliance with building safety and housing standards
• Manage contractor performance, budgets, and programme delivery
• Provide strategic input to executive leadership and the Board
• Support a strong team culture and collaborative working environment

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

• Significant experience leading/working with a housing association previous.
• Experience within head of investment or asset management programmes in housing
• Strong understanding of property compliance, building safety, and housing standards
• Excellent leadership, planning, and contractor management skills
• Good commercial and budget management experience
