Interim Transformation Lead


Compass Associates are representing a leading national charity in their search for an experienced Transformation Lead to support service improvements across adult services in Wales. This is a 6-month interim opportunity with a focus on driving regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and operational recovery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver against service improvement and compliance action plans
  • Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and HR process evaluations (e.g. Supervision)
  • Provide direct support to local managers in supported living and day services
  • Attend feedback meetings, monitor progress, and escalate barriers
  • Assist with investigations, resource planning, and rota reviews
  • Collaborate across departments, delegating tasks where necessary, though without direct line management


Ideal Profile:

  • Strong experience in turnaround or improvement roles within adult social care
  • Prior Registered Manager (CIW) experience essential; senior-level background preferred
  • Knowledge across Supported Living and Day Services environments
  • Excellent understanding of Welsh regulatory frameworks and quality standards
  • A robust, adaptable professional with great communication and auditing skills
